In each exhibition, an artist from Kinngait (Cape Dorset) was paired with a Southern counterpart on the basis of works that I felt had synergy. In the Baffin Island communities of Cape Dorset, Igloolik, and Pangnirtung, Nunavut, local sea ice experts wanted to work with researchers to document their knowledge, in order to: (1) share their knowledge with Inuit youth; (2) enable more Inuit knowledge and northern content to be incorporated into the northern education system; and, (3.
